🔍 GENERAL QUESTIONS
Q1: What does S.A.M. stand for?
A: S.A.M. stands for Self-Respect, Acceptance, and Mindfulness — the three pillars of body-positive, nature-connected education promoted by NaturismRE.
Q2: Is this a sex education program?
A: No. S.A.M. is a non-sexual, wellbeing-focused curriculum. It teaches body respect, not body function. There is no sexual content, no mention of intercourse, and no instruction related to sexuality.
Q3: What age is this program for?
A: The current program is designed for children aged 4 to 10, with an expansion for ages 11–16 in development.
All activities are age-appropriate, carefully scaffolded, and aligned to emotional maturity — not just age level.
Q4: Do students have to undress during this program?
A: No student is ever required to remove any clothing.
All experiential activities are:
Optional
Consent-based
Contextualised
Fully adaptable by the school or family
Q5: Can a school run this program without any naturist activities at all?
A: Yes. The Conservative Track includes only fully clothed activities, such as barefooting, nature grounding, body-neutral journaling, and reflection.
There is no disrobing in the Conservative Track.
👩🏫 TEACHER & SCHOOL QUESTIONS
Q6: Is this aligned with curriculum standards?
A: Yes. The S.A.M. Program supports Personal Development, Health, and Physical Education (PDHPE) outcomes, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), and wellbeing frameworks.
It can be embedded in Health classes, Wellbeing programs, or stand-alone enrichment blocks.
Q7: Are there legal concerns with the Open-Minded Track?
A: All optional naturist-inspired modules are:
For ages 11+ only
Conducted in private, secure, parent-approved spaces
Fully compliant with regional laws where used
Schools must ensure they meet their own jurisdiction’s legal and ethical standards before implementing Levels 3–11.
Q8: What if a parent or student wants to opt out?
A: All participation beyond the basic grounding activities (Levels 1–2) is voluntary.
Opt-out forms are available, and alternative reflective tasks are offered for any student who does not wish to join an activity.
Q9: What training do teachers need?
A: Each track comes with a Teacher Implementation Guide, reflection prompts, legal guidance, and safety checklists.
No naturist experience is required — only empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to child-centred teaching.
👨👩👧 PARENT QUESTIONS
Q10: Will my child see nudity?
A: Not unless you have consented and the school has selected the Open-Minded Track with optional Levels 3–11. Even then:
All visuals are stylised and abstract
No anatomical detail is ever shown
No photos or recordings are permitted
In the Conservative Track, all characters are fully clothed and there is no visual or in-person nudity.
Q11: What if this goes against our family’s cultural or religious values?
A: That’s absolutely respected.
The Conservative Track is designed for full alignment with modesty, privacy, and inclusive values.
You may also opt your child out of specific sessions and still benefit from the grounding, nature, and self-respect teachings.
Q12: Is NaturismRE trying to make my child a naturist?
A: No. NaturismRE is providing body-neutral education that allows students to understand:
That bodies are not shameful
That nature can heal body anxiety
That everyone deserves to feel comfortable in their skin
Whether or not a family embraces naturism is entirely a private choice.
Q13: How do I talk to my child about this program?
A: Start with curiosity and openness. Try asking:
“What did you feel when you sat quietly on the ground today?”
“How did it feel to walk barefoot outside?”
“What do you like about your body?”
You can also read the Sam & Sam storybooks together to build shared understanding.
