My name is Vincent Marty, Founder of NaturismRE (The Naturism Resurgence) — a growing international movement
founded right here in Australia, built on the principles of environmental responsibility, body freedom, personal well
being, and social equity.
We believe The Greens are uniquely positioned to champion a cause long overdue for serious attention: the legal
recognition and protection of naturism as a sustainable, mental-health-positive, and rights-based lifestyle.
Today, over 2 million Australians practise naturism or nudism in some form — many discreetly, others at risk of legal
fines or public shaming. Despite its deep connection to nature, its low environmental footprint, and its powerful mental
health benefits, naturism is still legally and culturally marginalised.
NaturismRE has formally written to the Australian Federal Government with:
A lobbying report specific to Australia,
A DISROBE profile outlining shifting public sentiment,
An economic & ecological impact report,
And a demand to modernise outdated public decency laws, which currently benefit multi-billion-dollar
industries built on body shame, overconsumption, and restrictive social norms.

the public square — to pressure the government to act. We are not asking for endorsement, only that you
acknowledge the alignment between our shared values:
