Many people assume NaturismRE is only about naturism.

It isn't.

Naturism remains an important part of NRE, but the vision of NRE is much broader.

The NRE Global Community is a growing international community exploring how health, wellbeing, human behaviour, nature, education, research, public policy, and responsible technology can work together to help create a better world.

Health influences wellbeing.

Communities influence society.

Society influences our relationship with nature, technology, and the future of humanity.

Why NRE Exists

The NRE Global Community exists to explore these connections, encourage constructive discussion, support evidence-based thinking, and develop practical ideas that may contribute to a healthier, more connected, and more sustainable future.

Beyond discussion, the NRE Global Community seeks to empower individuals, organisations, businesses, educators, researchers, community groups, and decision-makers to take meaningful action that promotes and protects health, wellbeing, naturism, environmental responsibility, human dignity, the responsible use of technology, and positive social outcomes.

Through education, research, public awareness, advocacy, collaboration, and innovation, NRE aims to help create communities that are healthier, more resilient, more connected to nature, more technologically responsible, and better prepared for the opportunities and challenges of the future.

What Has NRE Achieved?

During 2025 and the first months of 2026, NRE has grown from a simple advocacy initiative into a large-scale international education, research, and public awareness platform.

  • Approximately 1,700 pages of educational, research, advocacy, and public information resources.
  • More than 100 pages upgraded in the first five months of 2026.
  • Older materials archived through NRE Legacy.
  • The launch of the Standardised Stigma Measure, one of the largest ongoing studies examining attitudes toward naturism and non-sexual nudity.
  • Preliminary SSM results scheduled to be shared openly from 1 July 2026.
  • The launch of the NRE Health Institute.
  • Two free radio initiatives launched, one focused on health and one focused on public education.
  • More than 500 original articles and white papers published.
  • The NRE Nudism and Naturism Encyclopedia launched in two languages.
  • Safe-for-work educational resources developed without nudity, supporting workplace and public education use.

Individuals and organisations are encouraged to discuss, reference, analyse, critique, support, and share publicly available NRE concepts, frameworks, educational materials, and research findings.

When NRE frameworks, concepts, educational resources, research findings, articles, or public materials are shared, reproduced, referenced, adapted, or publicly presented, appropriate acknowledgement of NaturismRE (NRE) should accompany the material wherever reasonably possible.

NRE provides a substantial amount of educational, research, and public awareness content free of charge. In return, we simply ask that NRE receives appropriate recognition when its publicly available work contributes to publications, presentations, educational resources, discussions, media content, websites, videos, podcasts, or other public uses.

The NaturismRE name, logo, trademarks, and official branding remain protected and may not be used to imply official representation, endorsement, partnership, affiliation, or authorised status without prior written approval.

Official partnerships, authorised representatives, and approved use of NRE branding are subject to separate review processes designed to ensure alignment with NRE principles, standards, and objectives.
