My name is Vincent Marty, and I am the Founder of Naturism Resurgence (NaturismRE) — a global movement redefining naturism for the 21st century as a pathway to environmental responsibility, mental and physical well-being, and authentic human freedom.
I write to you today to propose a strategic dialogue between Greenpeace and NaturismRE. We believe that our respective missions — while distinct in origin — converge on shared values and goals that are too critical to overlook.

NaturismRE is not a leisure club. It is an international call for systemic transformation in how we relate to nature, our bodies, and each other. As part of our advocacy, we are in formal dialogue with 41 developed-world governments, challenging the legal and cultural frameworks that suppress sustainable, body-positive lifestyles — and which, whether knowingly or not, serve the interests of industries that profit from overconsumption, body shame, and waste.
These efforts are backed by publicly accessible documentation and research, as part of our campaign for recognition, reform, and responsible freedoms.

Reduced clothing dependency to curb textile industry pollution and fast fashion’s ecological toll

Freedom of bodily expression as a form of psychological liberation and ecological alignment
Resistance to corporate greenwashing and false sustainability narratives
Together, we can amplify one another’s impact — bringing deeper meaning to environmentalism by integrating body autonomy, simplicity, and lived sustainability.

At the heart of our work is a bold, structured framework: the 11 Levels of Naturism — guiding individuals through progressive levels of ecological awareness, body respect, and collective responsibility. This model turns naturism into an accessible, ethical lifestyle system — not just a label.
We also deliver the SAM Curriculum — Sustainability, Autonomy, and Mindfulness — a transformative educational tool for adults and youth alike. It is designed to replace disempowering messages of shame, materialism, and disconnection with practical pathways to sustainable living and emotional resilience.
