WHAT IS NATURISMRE?
NaturismRE (NRE – The Naturism Resurgence) is a global movement created to revive, modernise, and elevate nudism and naturism after decades of stagnation, shrinking participation, and limited advocacy.
NRE does not claim to represent naturists - it has not been elected, mandated, or appointed.
It exists for one reason:
Naturism has not evolved in decades - and someone had to restart its progress.
While hundreds of millions quietly practise naturism, public understanding has barely changed, legal clarity remains inconsistent, and the institutions supporting naturism have failed to adapt to modern realities.

GLOBAL REALITY: FEDERATIONS REPRESENT ONLY A TINY FRACTION
Conservative global estimates place the naturist population at approximately 299 million people worldwide.
Federations often cite combined international membership figures of around 450,000 individuals. Publicly available national membership statistics from several federations indicate that organised membership represents less than 0.3% of the estimated global naturist population.
This indicates that a large number of naturists participate outside formal organisational structures.
NaturismRE does not replace federations or existing organisations.
Its objective is to complement existing efforts by developing additional research, educational resources, and policy frameworks that support the wider naturist community.

Encouraging individuals to develop a healthy relationship with their bodies, personal boundaries, and physical wellbeing.
