🌍 A Global Message: Letters to the 41 Nations
Inviting Governments to Recognise the Power of Naturism
Every year, over 300,000 tonnes of clothing are discarded in Australia alone. The majority of these garments are made from petroleum-based synthetics, contributing to microplastic pollution, environmental degradation, and a culture of overconsumption.
And yet, millions silently reject this trend. Around the world, 1 in 6 people engage in some form of naturism — whether nude hiking, skinny dipping, or enjoying a clothing-optional beach. But their voices are largely ignored.
NaturismRE (Naturism Resurgence) is changing that.
We have sent a carefully crafted letter to each of the 41 most developed nations. These letters are not confrontational. They are respectful, evidence-based invitations for governments to:
Recognise naturism as a legitimate, low-impact lifestyle
Support body freedom and personal choice
Include naturist perspectives in sustainability and public health policies
Explore designated clothing-optional spaces as part of inclusive tourism and environmental strategies
Each letter is tailored to the nation's cultural context and policy landscape, and highlights naturism’s alignment with circular economy goals, climate targets, and human dignity.
