Subject: Urgent Call to Nudist/Naturist Federations – Self-Regulate or Be Regulated

Dear Leadership,

We are writing to you as part of a critical global effort to safeguard the future of nudism and

naturism.

For decades, most nudist/naturist federations have chosen to remain apolitical, believing that

silence would protect their legal standing. But today, that silence has become a liability. The

movement is facing mounting censorship, legal ambiguity, and cultural erasure. Let’s be

honest: a letter to Meta won’t cut it. It’s necessary—but symbolic without real structural

follow-up.

NaturismRE (NRE) has stepped into the political arena.

We are actively exposing how governments, industries, and digital platforms are undermining

body freedom. This includes publishing verified data, launching petitions, engaging media,

and revealing the forces working against us. We are also preparing legal action against

relevant institutions and parties, once stronger representation is established within their

jurisdictions.

Governments and institutions are increasingly targeting nudist/naturist communities—

culturally, digitally, and legally. As visibility grows and global conversations intensify, all

nudist/naturist organisations will come under greater scrutiny—not because of one

initiative, but because the movement as a whole is becoming harder to ignore.

We may operate under different philosophies and approaches—we do not have to agree on

everything the other is doing. But one thing is certain: if we remain fragmented, we are

vulnerable. Some organisations more than others—but all at risk.

For the sake of the future of nudism and naturism, cooperation on key initiatives is worth

serious consideration. Unity on core goals—such as ethical standards, legal recognition, and

cultural protection—could be the difference between resilience and regression.

Three Immediate Actions for Federations to Consider

1. Adopt or Co-Create Industry Standards

We urge you to review or adopt our proposed standards:

NaturismRE Industry Standards

Or, develop your own equivalent. But do it now—before standards are imposed externally by

those who do not understand or respect our values.

2. Launch National Petitions or Legislation

We recommend adapting and advancing:

• NICP Act – Naturist Integrity & Cultural Protection

• NICP Petition (Global – early stage)

• Australia’s Decency & Public Nudity Clarification Bill

Whether led by the federation itself or by empowered individual members, these are

legislative blueprints to anchor legitimacy in law.

3. We Are Here to Support You

NaturismRE is available to help any nudist/naturist federation or organisation with:

• Drafting or localising petitions

• Adapting legal text for regional systems

• Media response and political positioning

This is not about dominance or division. It is about preparing for what’s coming—together.

If a crackdown occurs, it won’t be the fault of those who acted. It will be the legacy of those

who remained silent.

We extend our hand not in competition, but in urgency and solidarity.

With respect,

Vincent Marty
