silence is powerful: it exposes governments’ unwillingness to engage, which

strengthens our argument that naturism is systematically suppressed.

Because their positions influence national laws and policies. By demanding clarity from

global bodies, we create pressure from the top down and the bottom up, forcing a

conversation that cannot be ignored.

4. What are the Nudism & Naturism Industry Standards?

They are ethical benchmarks that venues, resorts, and organisations must meet if they

use the terms nudist or naturist. These standards separate authentic naturism from

exploitative or sexualised misuse.

5. Why do standards matter?

Because public trust depends on clear boundaries. Standards help protect naturists,

guide clubs and resorts, and expose those who misuse naturism for profit or

exploitation.

6. What is the SAM Curriculum?

SAM (Science – Acceptance – Mindfulness) is an education program for ages 11–16. It

normalises the body, reduces shame, and introduces mindfulness — giving the next

generation tools to resist harmful stereotypes.

Because education is the foundation of cultural change. NRE’s mission is not profit — it

It is a world-first system that recognises naturism as a spectrum. From minimal

practices like barefoot grounding to spiritual immersion, all levels are valid — creating

inclusivity and progression without pressure.
