NaturismRE Code of Conduct

Introduction

NaturismRE is a global movement that promotes the principles of naturism and nudism in harmony with nature, fostering freedom, respect, dignity, and social responsibility.

Naturism emphasises a holistic connection with nature, while nudism focuses on the enjoyment of life in the nude. Both share core values of body acceptance, mutual respect, consent, inclusivity, and environmental stewardship.

This Code of Conduct sets clear expectations for behaviour and applies to all individuals who engage with NaturismRE content, initiatives, events, platforms, or advocacy activities, including participants, contributors, supporters, volunteers, organisers, and collaborators.

Its purpose is to ensure that NaturismRE remains a safe, respectful, and credible space for naturism and nudism to coexist and progress responsibly.

1. Respect for Others

NaturismRE is built on respect for oneself, for others, and for nature. All participants are expected to uphold the dignity of others at all times.

1.1 Body Acceptance

Positive Body Image
NaturismRE affirms that all human bodies are valid. Negative commentary, ridicule, or shaming related to body shape, size, age, disability, medical condition, or natural bodily variation is not acceptable.

No Comparisons or Judgement
Participants must refrain from comparing bodies or making remarks that may be perceived as evaluative or judgmental. Naturism celebrates diversity and freedom from scrutiny.

1.2 Consent and Boundaries

Physical Boundaries
Explicit consent must be obtained before any physical contact, including handshakes or embraces. Personal space and boundaries must always be respected.

Photography and Recording
No photographs, videos, or recordings may be taken without the explicit permission of all identifiable individuals present.

Where local law permits photography in public spaces, NaturismRE still requires respect for consent and privacy as a condition of engagement with NaturismRE activities.

1.3 Respect for Privacy

Confidentiality
Personal information, experiences, images, or stories shared in NaturismRE contexts must not be disclosed externally without consent.

Location Discretion
The locations of private events, gatherings, or secluded clothing-optional spaces must not be shared publicly or with unauthorised parties.

2. Inclusivity and Equality

NaturismRE is committed to inclusivity and equal dignity for all individuals.

2.1 Non-Discrimination

Discrimination or exclusion based on gender, sex, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, or any other personal attribute is prohibited.

NaturismRE recognises and respects diverse identities, including transgender, non-binary, and LGBTQIA+ individuals, and expects inclusive language and conduct.

2.2 Inclusion of Individuals, Families, and Groups

NaturismRE does not discriminate against individuals based on relationship status. Singles, couples, families, and groups are equally welcome.

Practices that disproportionately exclude specific groups, including single men, are inconsistent with NaturismRE principles.

Where families participate, parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that children adhere to this Code of Conduct.

2.3 Accessibility

NaturismRE supports accessibility and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities and encourages organisers to consider inclusive design wherever possible.

3. Ethical Naturism and Environmental Responsibility

NaturismRE promotes ethical engagement with natural environments.

3.1 Environmental Care

Leave No Trace
Participants must minimise environmental impact, remove litter, and respect wildlife and ecosystems.

Sustainable Practices
NaturismRE encourages environmentally responsible behaviour, including waste reduction, sustainable products, water conservation, and support for renewable energy.

3.2 Responsible Use of Public Spaces

Legal Awareness
Participants must comply with local laws and regulations when engaging in clothing-optional activities. Trespassing or deliberate violation of public decency laws undermines the credibility of naturism advocacy.

Respect for Non-Naturists
Participants must be mindful when sharing spaces with non-naturists and avoid imposing practices on others. Courtesy and restraint are essential.

4. Zero Tolerance for Harassment or Lewd Behaviour

NaturismRE maintains a zero-tolerance approach to conduct that compromises safety, dignity, or trust.

4.1 Harassment-Free Environment

Harassment of any kind—verbal, physical, visual, or online—is not tolerated. This includes sexual innuendo, persistent staring, inappropriate comments, or behaviour that causes discomfort.

Concerns should be reported to relevant organisers or NaturismRE administrators where applicable.

4.2 Handling of Natural Body Functions

Naturism recognises the natural state of the human body.

Involuntary physiological responses may occur naturally and are not, in themselves, a violation.
However, any deliberate sexual behaviour, stimulation, exhibitionism, or conduct intended to draw attention is strictly prohibited.

Participants are expected to maintain respectful public decorum at all times.

5. Responsibility and Accountability

5.1 Personal Responsibility

Individuals are responsible for ensuring their behaviour aligns with NaturismRE principles. Ignorance of this Code is not an excuse for violations.

5.2 Reporting and Response

Concerns regarding conduct may be reported to NaturismRE organisers, moderators, or administrators where applicable.

NaturismRE reserves the right to take appropriate action in response to breaches of this Code, including but not limited to:

  • removal of content

  • restriction of participation in specific initiatives or events

  • termination of collaboration

  • referral to relevant authorities where required by law

6. Optional Spiritual Aspect

NaturismRE acknowledges that some individuals experience a spiritual connection with nature.

Participation in spiritual practices is entirely optional and must never be imposed. Secular engagement is equally valid.

Individuals of all belief systems are welcome, and mutual respect is expected.

7. Community Contribution and Organisational Context

NaturismRE operates across advocacy, educational, and commercial initiatives.

A significant portion of resources generated is reinvested into advocacy, research, education, and public-interest initiatives that support naturism responsibly and sustainably.

Participation and contribution are voluntary and may take many forms, including advocacy, research, education, or support.

8. Continuous Improvement

NaturismRE is an evolving movement.

Constructive feedback is welcomed, and policies may be refined in response to experience, evidence, and changing societal contexts.
